Let us compare mythologies

I am saddened, almost beyond words, at the news of Leonard Cohen’s death. I’m naturally wary of celebrity worship, but Cohen’s poetry, music, and way of being have affected and inspired me for much of my life. His decisions to approach the music business in his own fashion, and then opt out, whether for life in Greece or to follow his intuition and teacher to a mountain-top monastery, have served as touchstones. He was much on my mind when I made one of my biggest decisions yet, just this summer.

A continuation then. Poet, prophet…sail on, sail on…holy, holy.
